In this spatial ceramic research, developed over the years, Ingrid Van Munster (b. 1974, FR) undeniably gives life to earth and fluidity to colour. Ingrid developed and then found a common thread in her ceramic approach: glazing as a language, an emotion deposited on a form evocative of nature. Another no less important aspect in the visual rhythm: the rupture. The strength of the glazed shape is, indeed a hole. A kind of tear, a chasm, a depression or even a chaos dug with a finger in the still soft earth letting the whole breath. Everything is fluid. Ingrid Van Munster's glazed orbs present an astonishing sensory dimension close to synaesthesia with simultaneous perceptions: at the same time visual, plastic, luminous or even poetic. Like landscape suggestions or miniaturised worlds encouraging a journey of the senses.
